Oh ya, I love cables...
The Must Have Cardigan is just my kind of knitting. Interesting, yet straight forward. Once the cables were set, it's just straight knitting until I get to armhole shaping:

The upsizing seems to be working so far. I'm getting about 44", which is what I had hoped for. Fingers crossed it will be enough for the sleeves too.
Hmmm... is that green? huh, who would've thought that I would be making it in green? Actually, it's a greyish green. I missed working with this kind of cables. Lately I seem to either be working with high maintance patterns (meaning I actually have to follow the pattern) or really simple projects (like lots of 2X2 rib or straight st. st). It's delightful to be back to my "comfort" knitting.
I haven't forgotten about the Brooks Fiber scarf:

Did I mention how lovely this yarn is to work with? I love the pattern too. Wouldn't that be cute as a baby blanket (not in the Wool/Silk yarn. That wouldn't be fun to wash).
So that's the plan for today... I'm probably going to work mostly on the Must Have Cardigan, with a little game playing mixed in.
Happy Knitting!

I thoroughly enjoyed knitting Must Have. Easy to memorize and interesting. I might knit it again in a cotton blend.
The cables look beautiful!
