October 1 is the "official" start date, but this is just a target date. Some have started (I swear it's only a "swatch", really!) and some won't be able to start until later. Please keep everyone posted on yarn choice and progress on the tagboard.
Project Info:
The size range (finished bust) is 38"-46"
It uses a worsted weight yarn, approx 1000-1200 yds.
Gauge is 20 sts X 28 rows to 4" in stocking stitch.
Two notes about the pattern:
Be sure to check the errata page for some shaping corrections. If you ordered a back issue, the corrections have already been made (the errata is for the original mailing only).
Also, Janet mentioned that Marilyn King of Black Water Abbey found the collar to be very narrow and changed the short rows to every other stitch. It's a matter of preference, you can see the wider collar here.
