Starting TBD
Just a quick update tonight. I uploaded 3 new blocks for the Leisure Arts Crochet Sampler Afghan.

I also bit the bullet and frogged back the sleeve for the Spring Forward. It's back on the needles and I've even worked a few rows.

Matt and I are watching the first season of
Scrubs, and thanks to it, I've been listening to Erasure all day (just listen to "A Little Respect" then try not to sing it all day....).  We're loving Scrubs. Sorry we missed this one when it was on.

This is the second attempt at Ida's Favorite Cardigan from Crochet With Style by Melissa Leapman. My gauge is just a little off, so I had to drop down a size. This one should be fine and it's moving quickly. The problem is that the SensoWool is only 100 yds per ball. That's going to be a lot of ends to weave in at the end. It's a nice easy pattern and is working up very quickly.

Yet an other cardigan. Yet an othe Melissa Leapman design (this time from Hot Knits). The One Button Cardigan. A good patten for me, as I have "goals"... since it switches between the cable pattern and the twisted stitch pattern, it breaks up the monotony of doing the same thing over and over.

I should also get 2 more blocks scanned in for the
Crochet Sampler Afghan later today.

Just a quick update. Suzanna is done with the exception of her zipper. I can't bring myself to put the white zipper in, so I'll be going and getting some dye to make it pink. I'll probably still use the crocheted facings I made (I'm still a seamstress at heart... even if I don't do much sewing anymore).

I will say that it's a smidgeon larger than I wanted, but I couldn't go down to the 40", so I made the 46"... it's okay, but not as cute as the one in the photo since it's not as snug. Still love it! Once I figured out the hood, it was a fast project!!!

Okay, I have the krappiest digital camera ever. It just never gives me anything close in color and I can only manipulate the photos so much.  Anyway, here's an updated photo of the zippered hoodie, Suzanne (by Melissa Leampan found in her book Cool Crochet)
As you can see, she's almost done. I need to weave in ends, do the edging and insert the zipper. The sad thing is that I couldn't find a pink zipper. So I bought a white one. I've made little crochet facings so the stark white is down toned just a bit. I should have her finished up today.

I did get two more squares done for the
Leisure Arts Crochet Sampler, and I'll scan them in later today and get that updated (done).

I want to thank those that left comments and/or sent me emails about my recent funk. This little depressive period I've been in feels like it's starting to fade a bit and hearing from friends is always good. I do think that I'm doing better and I really do appriciate those of you that read my blog and put up with these little periods of self doubt and self pity.

Okay, let's do a quick update on some of my other lingering projects.

The
Diamond Patch is languishing in the "will I even bother to finish it" pile. I grew bored with the diamond, but I know I'll probably like the finished sweater. I'll get back to it one day.

I loooove my
Spring Forward Cardigan. I love it so much that I knew I was going to knit it twice. I just didn't know it was going to be for one version! It's like the Goldilocks sweater for me... This one is too large, this one is too small... let's hope this one is just right! My tight sleeve issue is being dealt with and now it's just a matter of wrapping my brain around the idea of working the sleeve again.

The
Cropped Cardigan Redux is being worked on in bits. I pick it up every once in a while and do a few rows. It's definitely on sleeve island, and I'm still on the first sleeve! Part of me knows that I won't wear it until the fall, so I'm in no rush, but it's getting so close to getting done that I am trying to spend some time with it. It would be one less thing on my list to finish.

The
Cable O's Vest. Ooops, this one has sort of been forgotten about. I'm still on the front ribbing. I guess it will get moved back into rotation soon. I know that Matt really loves it so far and it is such a pretty vest for him. Just need to get past the ribbing.

All the
Sampler Afghans are progressing. I'm on block #15 for the knitting sampler and I've finished 13 blocks for the crochet sampler. The Project Linus was has sorta stalled, but I knew that one would be worked on in bits and pieces.

The
Filigree Lace Cardigan had to be pulled back (I so suck at lace). I made a mistake, and when I tried to fix it I made it worse. I'll get back to it eventually, but for now it's more or less been sent to the "to do list" rather than the active list.

So many projects! So much fun! No empty needles in this house!!!
